1. Drink more water
This is obviously the most natural remedy, but it’s also one of the most effective. Most people who have kidney pain will experience it as a result of a lack of hydration. The more water you drink, the better hydrated you are – and the more water available in your body means that the kidneys are able to more effectively flush away toxins in your body.
If you’re not drinking much water during the day, it’s important for you to remember to drink between eight and 10 glasses of water every day – or at least, anything that contains water.
2. Lemon juice
Lemon juice helps break down calcium within the kidney, which are a common cause of kidney stones. The citric acid within lemons is a welcome addition to the power of your kidneys, and, if you drink more lemon juice, you’ll go to the bathroom more often.
So, combining regular urination with citric acid, you’re able to keep your kidneys free of calcium build-ups, and the remains of the calcium are more easily washed out of your body.
